What it is
The community's only conference, and the event that turned a technique into a scene. The 2026 workshop is a full day covering mapping fundamentals, case studies (including a fictional "magical system detection" scenario), AI and workforce transformation, and interactive Q&A, with catering included. Limitations
Two live domains with conflicting information — map-camp.com is stale (its events list stops at 2024, and its Slack page still advertises a dead Heroku invite) while mapcamp.co.uk carries the current 2026/2027 information. Anyone landing on the .com will conclude the event is dead. There was a gap between Sept 2024 and Nov 2026 with no event. Recordings are scattered across three platforms with no unified index.
