What it is
The single live real-time community for the technique — where questions get answered, maps get critiqued, and tool authors are reachable. It replaced mapcamp.slack.com, which is defunct. Fallback route if invites expire, per the Map Camp site: contact Simon on Twitter (@swardley).
Limitations
Two competing invite links exist on two different official-looking Map Camp domains, neither verifiable programmatically, which is a poor onboarding experience. No member count is published anywhere. Discord is not indexed, so accumulated knowledge is not searchable from outside — a real loss compared to the old forum.

Verified 2026-08-23 — status, licence and links checked against the source on that date. The site re-checks every URL it publishes on a schedule and publishes the run, successes and failures alike.
